Alexander "Alex" Summers, known as Havok, is a Marvel Comics character, most prominently associated with the X-Men.
Havok first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #54 (March 1969). He is the younger brother of Scott Summers, Cyclops.
Havok possesses the mutant ability to absorb ambient energy and release it as waves of concussive plasma. He is unable to fully control this power, requiring a special containment suit to prevent accidental energy blasts.
Throughout his comic book history, Havok has been a member of various X-Men teams, X-Factor, and the Starjammers, and has been involved in leadership roles.
